Harmful gender stereotypes that are still encouraged by society, parents and teachers affects girls and boys around the world. It reduces aspirations and career options. Most girls starts to feel less intelligent than boys in age of 6. And it’s not kids fault, they are not born sexist. We are making them feel this way by raising in false beliefs. When I was a kid it was very common to say that boys don’t cry and girls should be vulnerable. So we are now adults, who are insecure, scared of expressing true emotions to each other, failing in relationships etc. We should not PLAY any ROLE. The most beautiful things that defines people are individuality and variety.
